Santa Fe Steakhouse has been working diligently for twenty years to develop a wine list that caters to all palates and any budget. Our team has a unique task in this process.
First and foremost, we taste a lot of wine. There are endless websites and reviewer magazines that rate wine, but we have always noticed they don't see eye to eye. For an example, imagine a wine is given 89 points by Robert Parker. Open Wine Enthusiast, however, and you may find a 95 point rating for the same wine. We find this 6 point difference to be huge and these differences can be found on almost any vintage of any bottle. While we do advertise wines that have high ratings in our wine list, we only choose wine based on how we feel about it when we taste it.
Secondly, we look for good deals so we can pass them on to our customers. We often buy in bulk and our wine list is so extensive our suppliers are willing to give us great deals on all of our wines. I'm sure as you peruse our wine list you will find some seriously great deals. We find ourselves walking through our local high-end grocers or liquor stores that sell some of the same bottles we have, and we don't see a drastic difference. This is NOT the case at most restaurants.
Lastly, we have made great effort to ensure our list is well balanced and diverse. We represent: 1) the majority of wine producing regions across the world, 2) almost all varietals, and 3) a price range from $20 to the upper $900's. This list is deep, rich, and technically spectacular.
Please, download and enjoy this work of art. We strongly advise you look for wine we have on our list to enjoy at home. Any wine on this list can be a safe bet for your personal tasting. If you have questions about any wine we have on this list, feel free to give us a call. Don't forget! When you come to dine at Santa Fe, your newfound favorite can be enjoyed with our
delectable dinner items. Ask your server or a manager for food pairing suggestions.
You will not be disappointed.
